Hey, I’m Kia.

You’ve gotten this far and now I consider us friends. It’s nice to meet you. I’m a designer and curious human in her 20s who loves creating things that tell stories, bring people together, and make everyday life a little better.
I’ve previously studied Entrepreneurship and Design, as well as Communication and Digital Media, and I’m now diving deep into Digital Design and Interactive Technology. Along the way, I’ve explored everything from branding and marketing to the philosophy of communication – especially how messages cut through the noise in our attention economy. These days, I’m particularly fascinated by AI and wearable technology, and how emerging tech can shape a better tomorrow.
But design is only part of my story. I grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark, though most of the time you’ll find me exploring other countries and cultures, often barefoot, and usually on some kind of board (surf, snow, or skateboard). I love movement in all its forms: surfing, running, biking, beach volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, yoga… you name it. Movement keeps me grounded, along with meditation, mindfulness, and a good book that challenges my way of thinking.
I’ve always been a big fan of travel guides (I have way too many). Not because I follow them, but because they inspire me to discover places on my own terms. Add in a good cup of coffee by the beach or in the mountains, and I’m at my happiest.
When I’m not designing or studying, I’m probably drawing, planning, or cooking for the people I love. Food is one of my favorite creative outlets, and I love experimenting with recipes inspired by different food cultures around the world. My lifestyle is quite minimalistic (except when it comes to sports gear and books 🙃).
Looking forward, I dream of working with brands and companies that are doing something cool and meaningful; helping them bring their vision to life through branding, illustration, social media content, posters, merch, video storytelling, or mixed media projects that spark curiosity.
At the heart of it all, I strive for a life built on health, freedom, creativity, and genuine connection, one that balances curiosity with calm, and ambition with play.
