Greenie – Bottling a Family Legacy

Concept: To transform a beloved, secret family recipe into a market-ready organic juice brand that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

The Brand Story (The “Why”)

Greenie wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born at my mother’s kitchen table. For as long as I can remember, my mornings began with the whir of a blender and a glass of my mother’s “secret green stuff.” It was the fuel that started our day, a ritual rooted in wellness and consistency.

The recipe is a unique, nutrient-dense blend that balances the sharpness of ginger and lemon with the creamy texture of almonds and a hint of the Danish seaside, sea buckthorn.

The Challenge: How do you take a homemade staple and translate that feeling of warmth, trust, and vitality into a commercial shelf product without losing its soul?

The Solution: A visual identity that marries heritage with health. The branding strips away the clutter of modern health trends to focus on the honest, raw ingredients that make Greenie unique.

The Ingredients (The “What”)

Pure, organic, and unfiltered.

  • The Base: Fresh Spinach & Lemon
  • The Kick: Ginger, Turmeric & Black Pepper
  • The Smoothness: Raw Almonds
  • The Secret Weapon: Sea Buckthorn (Rich in Omega-7s and C-vitamins)

Design Strategy & Visual Elements

“Honesty is the best recipe.”

Typography: A clean, utilitarian sans-serif for ingredient lists (transparency) paired with a humanistic serif for storytelling elements (heritage).

The Logo: A custom, soft-serif wordmark designed to evoke a sense of fluidity and organic movement, reminiscent of the pouring of the juice itself.

Color Palette:
Deep Kale Green: Representing the nutrient-dense spinach base.
Turmeric Gold: A vibrant accent highlighting the immunity-boosting spices.
Buckthorn Orange: A pop of energy representing the unique berry ingredient.
Almond Cream: Used for background warmth to soften the clinical feel often found in health drinks.
